Berlin - Innovation and a Green Mission

From May 20 to 22, Berlin once again became a hub for forward-thinking solutions. At GREEN TECH FESTIVAL 2025, visionaries, companies, and changemakers from around the globe came together to showcase and discuss what's next in sustainability and technology - and we were right in the middle of it.

At the joint booth of the Central Innovation Programme for SMEs (ZIM), we presented our GRIDNOW® Energy 4.0 platform - a real-world response to the challenges of the energy transition. Our solution enables real-time management of distributed energy systems and builds a flexible, open automation and data layer - from grid feed-in to individual buildings, down to every asset.

Currently, as part of a ZIM-funded project, we're working with Kleintges GmbH and Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg on a smart system for the automated configuration of active filters -- ensuring energy compliance and stability for industrial processes, even under dynamic grid conditions.

Hands-on energy and meaningful conversations

Whether it was a quick chat or an in-depth discussion, one thing stood out: the hunger for practical, scalable energy solutions. We had inspiring conversations about real use cases, new business models, and exciting opportunities for collaboration.

The topics were as diverse as the crowd - from OT integration and data sovereignty to decentralized system operations using battery storage, DC infrastructure, and hybrid grids. The message was clear: to keep pace with today's energy landscape, innovation and connectivity are key.
